DI conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the target pharmaceutical company’s manufacturing facilities as part of the due diligence process. The analysis began with a detailed review of the facility’s compliance with Vietnam’s manufacturing regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards, identifying strengths and weaknesses in current operations.
To assess potential for international expansion, DI benchmarked the facility’s capabilities against Japan and EU compliance policies. This included reviewing production processes, quality control systems, and facility design to identify gaps requiring upgrades for alignment with stringent international standards.
DI also explored the feasibility of product portfolio enhancements by analyzing existing manufacturing capabilities and suggesting modifications or investments needed to produce higher-quality products for international markets.
Finally, DI provided the client with actionable recommendations, including cost estimates and timelines for facility upgrades, and highlighted potential risks and opportunities to guide the acquisition decision and post-acquisition strategy.
