Since joining DI SEA, our team members have been part of several groundbreaking projects, each offering unique and impactful experiences. From driving impact ecosystem development and market entry for new technology to supporting visionary business platforms and facilitating ventures into new markets, our employees have been deeply involved in shaping the future of various industries.

 

The projects have not only provided steep learning curves but also offered multifaceted growth opportunities, providing comprehensive views and real-world experiences in areas such as digital transformation, start-up development, and ecosystem nurturing. Additionally, venturing into socially impactful initiatives, creating innovative business models, and contributing to meaningful changes in the startup landscape have been particularly rewarding experiences for our team members.

 

The diverse and impactful nature of these projects reflects the dynamic and pioneering spirit at DI SEA, embodying our commitment to innovation, growth, and societal change. Our team’s involvement in these projects showcases our dedication to driving meaningful and transformative initiatives, contributing to groundbreaking ventures, and fostering innovation and growth across diverse sectors.

So far, my most exciting project has been driving impact ecosystem development in Indonesia. In this project, my role is to assist global ODA in engaging with public and private stakeholders, which includes attending meetings and conducting ad-hoc research. This concept and project scope are new experiences for me, providing a steep learning curve and helping to grow my professional network.
One of the most memorable project I worked on involve around market entry for new technology. In this project expose me to new technology trends, market readiness as well as different circumstances between countries. This experience teach me to be careful with preconceived notion from past experience and ask relevant questions to improve your understanding about the main issues
We, DI, supported our client in "producing" a visionary business platform to solve the issue of unefficient food value chain in Vietnam. This was like our "baby" as we developed from concept, to business model, to feasibility check (proof of concept), to profitability check (proof of value), to actual business operation. This project did grew myself in multiple aspects, offering me a comprehensive view, and the experience of actual "Start up"
The project with the Indian team, aimed at facilitating a Japanese conglomerate's venture into the Indian market, was particularly impactful. India, with its similarities to Vietnam but also its advanced digital landscape, provided a unique opportunity for me. I played a crucial role in driving digital transformation efforts, which led to meaningful changes in the business environment. Additionally, visiting India’s startup valley and immersing myself in its dynamic ecosystem was a memorable and rewarding experience.
The most exciting project I've worked on at DI SEA was focused on developing an ecosystem for startups in Indonesia. This involved supporting both hard and soft aspects, such as providing access to funding, infrastructure, and mentorship, while also fostering collaboration and skill development. The project was particularly rewarding because of its potential to drive innovation and growth in Indonesia's startup landscape.
My first project at Dream Incubator SEA was a social impact initiative focused on creating one of Indonesia's first impact funds. Being part of such a pioneering project was incredibly exciting, as it allowed me to contribute to meaningful change while working on a groundbreaking venture in the region
