Background:
Following the majority acquisition of a local transportation company, a major foreign transportation giant (the client) discovered that while its core urgent delivery business (corporate courier services) remained profitable and stable, other delivery segments were stagnating. The local branch reported to headquarters that post-acquisition service price increases had made their services uncompetitive. DI was commissioned to analyze the market and provide recommendations for revitalizing the business.
