Dream Incubator (“DI” or the “firm”) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Intern (“Consultant”) at our Southeast Asia offices complex. As a leading management consulting firm, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and strategic insights to our clients.
During the tenure of assignment/service of the Intern, they are expected to act in the firm’s best interests at all times. They agree to devote their full working time to their job duties and any other duties that the firm may assign to them from time to time. The details about their roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Line Manager, Interns are expected to render their service in performing professional consulting practice across the firm’s offices with an active role in all aspects of client engagement. Their role is primarily demonstrated as follows:
Project Engagement and Delivery: Participate in end-to-end project engagement and delivery of projects and/or project module(s) as assigned by the Line Manager in charge, including the following primary responsibilities:
- Work in teams of typically 3–4 consultants playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement;
- Conducting day-to-day consulting work:
- Create hypotheses to answer key questions in project proposal formulation and work planning.
- Perform research and deep-dive analysis to validate the hypotheses, including primary research (survey, interview) and secondary research (desktop research on information such as economy reviews and outlook, industry reports, company profiles, business models, financial statements, business performance data, business plans, financial projection/model, and other materials).
- Build and validate business plans and financial projections upon consulting project cases.
- Ensure the quality of the consulting process and output in compliance with DI standards and format;
- Actively collaborate with other local offices or practices for smooth implementation of projects (where applicable);
Reporting:
- Actively report your work progress to the Line Managers in charge of your work and/or work module.
The details about the assignment and the expected achievement regarding the above roles and responsibilities will be communicated to the Intern upon their commencement of employment and where the management deems appropriate to do so.
Minimum requirements
- Prior internship experience is preferred; relevant strategy consulting experience is a plus;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong command of English and Vietnamese;
- Highly resourceful, with superior problem-solving and analytical skills;
Good time-management skills and a flexible attitude, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle simultaneous work streams;
- Strong customer service orientation with a willingness to work in a demanding and results-oriented team environment;
- An advanced graduate degree in progress (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) or a 3rd/Final-year student from Tier-1 schools with an academic focus in a Business or Quantitative discipline (e.g. Finance, Business Administration, Management, etc.).
